Sport, relaxation and sightseeing: everything you need to enjoy your stay.

During your stay, make yourself at home with the château’s facilities: a session in the gym, a few lengths in the indoor pool, then some time unwinding in the 6-person spa.
Fancy some fresh air? Mountain bikes are available, subject to availability, to explore the lanes around Saint-Bard, between hedgerows, ponds and rolling meadows. Ride on to the neighbouring village of Saint-Oradoux-près-Crocq, or to Crocq and its medieval towers, just a few kilometres from the estate.

Between the Creuse and the Auvergne, the château is ideally located for exploring the area: volcanoes, heritage, nature and family days out, there is something for everyone.

Climb to the summit of the famous volcano for a spectacular view over the Chaîne des Puys.

Less than an hour from the château, an amazing park for a family journey to the heart of volcanoes.

In Aubusson, discover a unique craft handed down from generation to generation.

At the Monts de Guéret wildlife park, watch wolves in an unspoilt natural setting.

A fun outing for young and old alike, in search of the right path.

Pedal along old railway lines and see the Creuse countryside in a whole new way.

Explore the countryside at a horse’s pace, an activity children love.

Swimming, walks or water sports: a large lake that is ideal for a day by the water.

Trails for all levels, through forests, past ponds and across rolling meadows.

During your stay, take time to wander through the gardens of the Creuse. Don’t miss the two gardens awarded the “Jardin remarquable” (Remarkable Garden) label: the Arboretum de la Sédelle in Crozant and its maple collection, and the Jardin de Val Maubrune in La Brionne, nestled in a wooded valley.
To continue exploring, visit the Jardin Les Gargalhous in Fresselines, famous for its old roses, Artbotanic in Saint-Agnant-de-Versillat or the Clos du Préfons in Crozant. The Jardin Lacore in Saint-Pardoux-d’Arnet will surprise you with its sculptures set among the greenery.
For mazes, head to the Giant Maze of the Monts de Guéret for a fun family outing: can you find the way out?
